IT Director Craig Harmon and County Administrator Jeness Saxton briefed the board on the county’s AI pilot. Commissioner White said he would like the program moved under the IT Department’s administration and recommended trying Grok alongside ChatGPT for comparison testing. Craig Harmon committed to drafting an AI user policy to govern county use and indicated he would proceed with policy work and model comparisons.
