The Fillmore City Council unanimously ratified a prior council decision to allow Millard County to conduct a request-for-proposals process for EMS services on Fillmore's behalf. Councilmember Dennis W. Alldredge reminded the council that "doing an RFP is a standard procedure that they are required to follow" and noted the city could contract with an alternative provider if warranted.
The motion to ratify the RFP process carried without objection. Staff will proceed in coordination with Millard County to solicit proposals and return recommended contracts to the council for approval if warranted.
