Mechelle Miller reported an active month for emergency management: the state Emergency Operations Center has returned to level three status following earlier wildfire activity, three Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAGs) are in place for the fires, and coordination with Colorado partners continues. Miller said she is covering Grand County because of the Snyder fire and recommended the county maintain its own local drought declaration for the record.
