Commissioners table multiple Planning & Zoning ordinance and zone-change items
Summary

Commissioner Matt Tippets moved to table consideration of the Accessory Dwelling Unit ordinance and related Planning & Zoning recommendations to allow staff to gather further information; Commissioner Tippets also moved to table proposed changes to Commercial and Industrial Use Zones and proposed changes to permitted or conditional uses in residential and agricultural zones. The minutes record the motions to table for additional information rather than immediate approval or denial.
County Attorney Kent Snider noted that Planning & Zoning had been proactive in drafting the proposals. The items were not advanced in June 30 proceedings and will return to a future agenda with additional information for the commission's consideration.
