The council approved a contract with Wurlix Design Inc. for construction of a new playground and surfacing at Hawkins Springs Park at a base cost of $377,275. Parks staff told council that supply and bond pricing changes after agenda publication added approximately $8,934 to the packet numbers; staff will cover that amount from the parks maintenance line or contingency.
