HR manager presented the proposed city pay plan, condensing seven existing pay plans into four categories (traditional, executive, police and fire) and maintaining certification incentive and assignment pay. The HR manager said the city has approximately $402,360 in additional unallocated funds to use toward implementation but that the total increase would be $549,350. "Every single one of our employees will be receiving..." the HR manager said while explaining the pay statements and the proposed plan.
