Chief Blassingame presented a two-year review of the Prosper Fire Department's 48/96 schedule and recommended the council adopt the schedule in full. He said the schedule (48 consecutive hours on duty followed by 96 off) was implemented on Jan. 6, 2024; surveys showed 94% support at implementation and a later survey returned 100% support for keeping it.
