Commissioner Lichtty told the commissioners court that about "1 year and 6 days ago" the court approved a Ten Commandments monument for the historic court grounds and that officials had consulted the historical commission on color and placement. He invited county residents to the dedication ceremony scheduled for Saturday, May 23 at 3:00 p.m., and cautioned that parking may be tight.
