District staff presented the Celia Hayes Elementary roofing replacement procurement (CSP2526.03‑004), reporting nine proposals and recommending Weather Shield Roofing at $578,165 to be paid from remaining 2015 bond authorization funds. Staff said the low bidder was not recommended for similar reasons as the high‑school project and noted Weather Shield has commercial experience appropriate to this smaller scope.
