County staff told the court they had submitted a grant application to the state for $70,359.09 to buy upgraded incident‑response lighting for emergency scenes. "This was a request from the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management," the presenter, Brooke, said, and she confirmed there was no local match required for the request. The court ratified the submittal.
