Chamblee council adopts several ordinance amendments on second reading
On second reading the council adopted amendments to the UDO regulating smoke and vape shops, updated alcohol licensing rules (including a new complimentary beer/wine license), amended dealer rules for precious metals and gems to add 'key participant' definitions and background checks, and updated the booting-of-vehicles ordinance for private property.

During the Sept. 16 meeting the Chamblee City Council adopted multiple ordinance amendments on second reading. The city attorney read ordinance language or headings as authorized by the council; motions to approve each amendment were moved, seconded and carried.
