Kevin Cockle gave trustees an update on multiple district construction projects.
Cockle said Memorial High School and the athletic complex had more than 6,000 punch‑list items at the end of the previous summer and are now down to fewer than 1,000 items; irrigation, drainage swales between the field house and soccer pitch and various turf and athletic facility finishes were in progress. He described a concrete swale behind Friendship Middle School to carry runoff to a retaining pond on the site’s south side and said the Casey Fleet parking area has subgrade work, piers for a covered awning and recent concrete pours.
Cockle reported favorable weather had helped crews stay on schedule. Board members did not record additional conditions or votes on the update.
