State approves energy-saving contract for Riverbend Maximum Security modernization

The commission approved the Tennessee Department of Correction's request to use an energy-saving performance contract with contractor Naresco to modernize HVAC and mechanical systems at Riverbend Maximum Security Institution, constructed in 1988, to address decades of deferred maintenance.
