State approves energy-saving contract for Riverbend Maximum Security modernization

RMSI continues to operate with much of its original HVAC and mechanical infrastructure... This represents a significant step forward... that will modernize the facility infrastructure, eliminate a significant portion of deferred maintenance, and transition operations from reactive to proactive," Strata said. He identified Naresco as the energy services contractor partner for the proposal.
A motion to approve the project under the energy-saving performance contract delivery method was moved, seconded and adopted by voice vote. The transcript records the commission’s adoption with no opposing votes noted.
