The Mason County Board approved a special-use permit (Resolution 2026-30) and a variance (Resolution 2026-31) for Charlene Davis to install a ground-mounted solar array on Parcel 17-28-310-001. Scott Garlisch moved to approve the special-use permit, seconded by Brenda Davenport-Fornoff; the motion carried. Later, Garlisch moved to approve the variance and Adam Sarnes seconded; that motion also carried.
The two approvals allow the proposed ground-mounted solar array to proceed subject to any conditions recorded in the board file. The resolutions were considered together during the Feb. 10 meeting and both passed by voice/roll-call as recorded in the minutes; no appeals or amendments were made on the floor.
