The Oklahoma State Board of Education approved a Department request for exceptions to state teacher certification regulations to permit emergency (provisional) certificates under 70 O.S. 6-187(G). Board Member Chris Van Denhende moved to approve the request and Board Member Ryan Deatherage seconded; the motion carried with all seven members voting yes.
