Council adopts Wildland-Urban Interface amendment to local fire code
Leamington adopted an amendment to Title 11.1.6 to include the Wildland-Urban Interface code; the motion passed unanimously and council also discussed hydrant metering and backflow prevention.

Mayor Michael Lovell introduced an amendment to Title 11.1.6 of the town code to adopt the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) code. Council member Tyler Christensen moved to adopt the amendment and Marcia Pack seconded; the council approved the change unanimously.
