Board members debated whether Green River’s local business outreach should be run independently or under the Emery County Business Chamber’s umbrella. Brock Johansson and other board members cautioned that multiple overlapping groups could fragment countywide efforts, while Dorothy Carter argued that Green River needs a local, on-the-ground presence because the city is more than 90 minutes from central meeting locations.
