The Davis County Audit Committee reviewed recent Fraud & Ethics Hotline items May 19 and closed two matters after internal review. A complaint alleging county government interference in a petition process underwent a limited micro-audit and was found to be unsubstantiated because the message appeared to be an individual speaking rather than an official complaint and lacked actionable specifics.
