Traverse County Commissioners voted unanimously Sept. 3, 2024, to accept a shingles roofing quote from ClearPoint for the courthouse building for $60,160.00 after Courthouse Building Supervisor Chad Klindworth reported steel roofing estimates were substantially higher and noted the selected shingles carry a 50-year warranty compared with a 30-year option for steel.
