County engineer reports S60 closure, Durapatcher work on Old Highway 2

County Engineer Dillon Davenport briefed the Board that road crews are operating a backhoe with a mulcher head south of Cambria and are setting culverts as needed. He said a Durapatcher crew is working on west Old Highway 2 and will move to east Old Highway 2, with other pavement repairs scheduled across the county.
Davenport reported that the S60 highway north of Seymour is closed to traffic and is expected to remain closed until mid–late July. He said subdrains and shoulder rocking should be completed this week and crews will then proceed to striping. The Board received the report with no substantive change to policy and no formal vote required.
