The council continued a public hearing on proposed code changes related to FEMA guidance and regulations, moving the next hearing date to Sept. 24, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. Councilor Barb Gregory made the motion to continue the FEMA item for three months and Councilor Grace Howell seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous vote.
