The Broken Bow City Council met in special session on July 14, 2026, for a MEAN (Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska) educational workshop at the Broken Bow Municipal Building. Administrator Dave Schmidt called the meeting to order at 3:33 p.m., announced the availability of the Open Meetings Act and confirmed that notice was published in the Custer County Chief and that agenda materials were provided to the mayor and council.
