The Salina Board of Education voted on April 14 to retain the existing board organization for the 2025–26 school year. The motion, made by Jackie Ball and seconded by Leroy Monk, kept Leroy Monk as Board President and Greg Rice as Vice President; Jackie Ball remained Board Clerk, Jarred Sorum remained Deputy Board Clerk and Casey McWhirt remained a member. The roll call vote was McWhirt Yes, Sorum Yes, Ball Yes, Rice Absent, Monk Yes.
Board members did not propose alternate candidates during the motion. The vote maintained continuity in the board’s officer assignments for the next year and was recorded in the meeting minutes.
