The Town of Eden Selectboard on Dec. 30 accepted a State of Vermont Structures Grant of $50,697.00 for repairs and stabilization work on Blakeville Bridge #15 and agreed to amend the scope to fund an engineering study to define a long-term fix. Ricky Morin (Chair) explained that earlier repair bids were declined because contractors cited fragility of the supporting structure beneath a poured concrete deck.
