The retirement board approved Item 1 by voice vote at the start of a brief meeting after staff said the only change to the packet was an updated signature from the sheriff. Chair said, 'Is there a motion on item 1?' and a motion to approve was made and carried by voice vote.
Assessor Marissa Treat told the board, "you do have a sheet in front of you that just has the sheriff's updated signature. Nothing else has changed. So all of the amounts and everything, all the numbers are exactly the same as what's on the agenda." After that clarification the Chair asked, "Is it all in favor, say aye," and members responded in the affirmative; the motion was approved by voice vote. There was no recorded opposition or roll-call tally in the transcript.
The Chair then called for any citizens or board comments; none were recorded. A motion to adjourn was made and seconded and the board voted to adjourn. The meeting concluded with the Chair’s closing remark: "Let's beat the retirement board by 3."
