Board adopts multiple student and facility policies
The Santa Fe South Schools board unanimously approved a high school cellphone policy, a school attendance policy, a visitor management policy, and amendments to the Minute of Silence and Voluntary Prayer and Restrooms and Changing Areas policies to align with state department recommendations.

At its Oct. 21 meeting, the Santa Fe South Schools board approved several policy measures addressing student devices, attendance and campus safety. The board approved a high school cellphone policy (moved by Dr. Ed Frick, seconded by Vicky Primeaux) and a school attendance policy (moved by Rosy Trujillo, seconded by Vicky Primeaux); both motions passed 5-0.
