Select Board staff reported they solicited proposals for preliminary engineering for the proposed Hampton housing site and received three proposals; one failed to meet requirements, leaving two responsive bids from Haven Architecture LLC and Vermont Integrated Architecture (VIA). Speaker 5 said both scored similarly on a rubric but Haven's price was roughly $50,000 lower and recommended awarding to Haven.
