Developer asks council to reconsider conditional rezoning for 8715 Telegraph Road

Letosis said the project proposes interior climate-controlled self-storage (no exterior storage or truck rentals), reduced impervious surface, and additional landscaping to adaptively reuse a building that is difficult for many traditional commercial uses. "We are here to ask the city council to reconsider their decision on the conditional rezoning of the property," he said, noting the planning commission had recommended approval and that approvals had lapsed before construction could begin.
The chair noted a motion to reconsider must be made by a council member who voted with the majority in denying the second reading; no member moved to reconsider. Letosis asked the council to allow the applicant to return with additional information at a future meeting. The council did not act to reopen the item at this session.
