Selectboard delays budget approval pending account clarifications
Summary
The Weybridge Selectboard paused consideration of the town budget after members requested detailed transaction reports for several accounts; the budget will be revisited at the next meeting.
During the Jan. 6 meeting the board discussed the budget format and individual accounts and agreed to run detailed transaction reports on a couple of accounts to clarify outstanding questions. Because those clarifications were not yet available, the board put the budget on hold until the next meeting.
No new budget figures were adopted at the Jan. 6 meeting. The minutes record that the budget review will continue at a subsequent meeting after staff provides the requested account transaction details.
