Veterans Affairs reported 41 claims reviewed in March, $876,474 in benefits to 427 veterans/dependents in February, and upcoming outreach events; staff said a veterans-transportation van program needs coordination and follow-up with transit partners.

Ruth from the Veterans Affairs office presented the department's activity report for March and related outreach work. She said staff reviewed 41 claims, recorded 15 decisions and one partial decision, submitted three claim updates to the VA, filed nine new claims and six appeals, and completed four intensive files and six VA healthcare applications. Ruth reported 271 total interactions across phone, email and in-person visits.
