Conservation board approves Fairview Concrete bid and bridge engineering work
The Jones County Conservation Board approved a $4,610 Fairview Concrete bid for Wapsi Trail and Central Park concrete replacement and authorized a $4,000 engineering bid for Fremont Mill Bridge inspection, load rating and metal repair.

The Jones County Conservation Board voted June 8 to approve a $4,610 bid from Fairview Concrete for concrete replacement on the Wapsi Trail and at Central Park and to add two concrete bench pads for $1,850. The motion to accept the Fairview Concrete bid was made by Russ VonBehren and seconded by Megan Manternach; the board recorded "All ayes," and the motion carried.
