Mayor Peter Sharp told the council the PUD donated a local history book that will be given to the library after renovations, described Public Works efforts on potholes and roadside garbage, and shared contact information for the Compass Workforce Program for nonprofits.

Mayor Peter Sharp used his message to acknowledge Councilmember Carsons completion of the Municipal Leadership Certification and to report a range of operational updates. He said "The PUD donated a book of the local history between the PUD and Soap Lake. The book is available at City Hall and will be given to the Library once renovations are completed."
