Council approves multiple board appointments, reappointments

During the June 8 meeting, Huber Heights City Council approved a slate of appointments to advisory bodies and commissions. The council voted to appoint Pam Whitted to the Citizens Water and Sewer Advisory Board (term ending 01/01/2028). Council also approved appointments to the Military and Veterans Commission (Darla Kaye, Amanda Fish, Randall Fletcher and Benjamin Morgan) and reappointed Gregory Fox to the Arts and Beautification Commission through 06/30/2029; staff stated background checks were complete and the interview panel recommended appointment or reappointment.
Vice Mayor and multiple council members offered brief remarks thanking commissioners for their service. The votes were recorded by roll call and passed without opposition; staff indicated that the appointments filled vacancies and followed the normal interview and background-check process.
