Rolette County tables internal audit request, seeks additional cost estimates

Commissioner Henry LaRocque reported having contact with Eide Bailly LLP and presented a handout describing scope of services and a proposed service agreement for an internal audit. LaRocque said the board would also solicit an estimate from Brady Martz for a comparable engagement.
Commissioner Ross Zaste moved to table the internal audit discussion until the Dec. 2, 2025 meeting to allow time to collect additional estimates and documentation; the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote. The board did not authorize a specific contract at this meeting.
