The Ionia County Board of Commissioners denied a proposed change to retirement (MERS) participation for administrative positions at Central Dispatch. Commissioner Phil Hesche moved the motion to deny the changes and Commissioner David Hodges supported it. The motion carried by roll-call vote: Commissioners Phil Hesche, Scott Wirtz, David Hodges and Temporary Chair Terence Frewen voted yes; Commissioner Gordon Kelley voted no.
