Cody Elam of Buildings & Grounds presented plans for a donated Gold Star monument and sought direction on placement near the GI Joe statue at the historic courthouse. He described the pieces as steel plates (one-quarter-inch) with two tallest elements about 6 feet high and said some welds and warps need repair before installation.
