Trustee Josh Powers moved to table discussion and possible action on a feasibility study proposed from Goldberg Group Architects that would explore options for design, funding, construction and operations of a new or renovated Comanche County Detention Center. Vice-Chair Ryan John seconded the motion, and Powers, John and Chairman Johnny Owens voted aye.
The motion paused further consideration of study scope, funding sources and timelines. The board took no additional votes on procurement or contracts connected to the study at this meeting; trustees acknowledged the proposal but left further action for a later date.
