Higgins Lake Foundation launches free Be WellWise well-testing program for local wells
The Higgins Lake Foundation presented Be WellWise, a free well water-testing initiative (June 10–Sept 30) for residents of Beavercreek, Gerrish and Lyon townships; Raven Analytical will test for E. coli, total coliform, nitrate and nitrite and participants may opt to share de-identified results with public health agencies.

At the Roscommon County meeting on May 27, the Higgins Lake Foundation introduced Be WellWise, a free well water-testing program aimed at better understanding groundwater quality in the Higgins Lake watershed.
