Deputy Director Armon Smith told the board that HHunt pulled the Hunting Hawk project from the Board of Supervisors agenda after the Planning Commission denied approval of the rezoning application. Smith said the company removed the item from the supervisors' agenda rather than proceed immediately to the board.
Smith also summarized the Marchetti project process: a second community meeting was held on Feb. 8 and the Planning Commission deferred the project at its Feb. 19 meeting to March. Both items remain in the planning-review stage and may return to the Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors with revisions.
