Committee hears update on naloxone distribution; county task force pursuing cabinets in libraries and other sites

During the March 9 meeting, Johna Jones reported she had discussed naloxone-by-mail and distribution options with a county contact, and she asked whether training remains required before receiving naloxone. The transcript records that CSB staff clarified that "previously training was required before dispensing but that is no longer the case." The committee discussed measures to broaden access to naloxone in public locations.
