Committee reports, meeting schedule changes and next steps
Summary
Board members reported committee updates, set the next regular meeting for May 20, 2026, and rescheduled July's meeting to July 21, 2026 at 8:00 A.M. to accommodate Director Pluym's MACSSA attendance.
Commissioners provided brief committee reports: Enterprise North will hold a work session in May; the Local Advisory Council will move its June meeting to 3:00 p.m. so school partners can attend; and the Suicide Awareness Walk is scheduled for Sept. 16, 2026 from 4–6 p.m. The VFC collaborative's next meeting is set for June 10, 2026.
The board agreed the next regular Human Services Board meeting will be May 20, 2026 at 9:00 A.M. in the Human Services community room. Director Amy Pluym requested changing the July meeting date so she could attend the MACSSA meeting in person; the board approved rescheduling the July meeting to July 21, 2026 at 8:00 A.M. to be held in the Commissioner's Room at the Watonwan County Courthouse.
