The Shenandoah County Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) discussed and created a five-year Strategic Plan during its Feb. 4, 2026 meeting. Chair Alyssa Baker presided as members amended the agenda to move the Strategic Plan discussion earlier, following a motion by Jerry Stollings and a second from Leea Shirley.
Members worked through the strategic-plan item during new business; the transcript records that the CPMT “discussed and created a 5-year Strategic Plan” but does not include the plan document or its specific goals in the provided record. The agenda amendment to advance the discussion was approved before the plan work. The meeting minutes show the CPMT is advancing planning work for the next five years and will continue oversight at subsequent meetings.
