Carlton County approves two interim use permits for aggregate extraction

IUP‑2026‑003 authorizes Ulland Brothers, Inc. to conduct aggregate extraction on property described as the Southwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 6, Township 47 North, Range 17 West in Blackhoof Township (address: 2449 Kelly Paulson Road; PIN 45‑028‑0935). IUP‑2026‑004 authorizes aggregate extraction for Heidi Peura on property described as the NE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 46 North, Range 20 West in Silver Township (PIN 66‑016‑2500).
The board accepted the Planning Commission recommendations and approved both IUPs "with conditions and findings of fact as on file in the Zoning Office." The decisions were recorded as motions carried by all yea votes. Any operational conditions, reclamation plans, or monitoring requirements are on file with Planning & Zoning.
