Dispatch updates policies after EFD rollout; annual state report submitted
After implementing EFD, Central Dispatch updated about a dozen policies, integrated them into PowerDMS and CAD, and reported submitting the annual state report (call volumes, finances, NG911 preparedness) required for device-surcharge-related state funding.

Director Christine Collom told the board that approximately 12 policies and procedures were updated following Emergency Fire Dispatch implementation. Staff reviewed draft policies and training was delivered using the Power Recall system; policies are integrated with PowerDMS and CAD to give staff real-time access. Collom said additional EMS-related procedural updates were required.
