Director Christine Collom reported the Emergency Fire Dispatch (EFD) protocols went live in March and that staff made a small adjustment within the first 36 hours to speed call entry into CAD. Initial quality assurance reviews showed an 85% compliance rate during the first week, and Collom said dispatch staff have responded positively to the structured prompts introduced by EFD.
