Chairman Ron Burrows called the Rogers County Board of County Commissioners to order March 23, 2026, and the board confirmed a quorum with Commissioners Dan DeLozier and Steve Hendrix present. The board approved the March 16, 2026 minutes and carried a series of routine motions including payroll, utility permits, and purchase orders.
Purchasing Agent Samantha Sherman reported that 33 invitations to bid were sent for the county's asphalt requirement and nine bids were received; action on that procurement was tabled one week. The commissioners approved 50 Blanket Purchase Orders totaling $116,600.00 and accepted a request to cover an exceeded PO (#26-04191 encumbered Dec. 22, 2025 to Amazon) for $253.06 for the Health Department after review. The session ended with approval of Resolution 2026-164 to pay purchase orders from all departments.
