Parker County extends bond-program management work and gets project updates

The Parker County Commissioners Court received a monthly bond-program briefing from Chris Bosco of Friese Nichols and approved a task order to extend program management services through next summer for $325,000.
Bosco said the work covered program controls, the monthly reporting that feeds the public dashboard, coordination with regional councils of governments and TxDOT, plus general engineering and subcontract oversight for geotech, traffic control and surveying. "We maintain a Power BI dashboard, coordinate funding with COGs and TxDOT, and manage a set of subs so the program is more efficient at the program level than billing each project hourly," Bosco said. Commissioners asked for line-item detail; Bosco offered to provide additional breakdowns on request.
The report also summarized project-level status: I‑20 ramp design nearing bid; Oak Ridge out to bid with a planned opening; Thomas Road right-of-way secured and moving to bid; and coordination on the Bankhead Bridge and other precinct-level projects. The court approved the task order on a unanimous vote.
