Legislature approves appointments, staffing changes and multiple budget transfers
The body approved several personnel actions including appointment of Chad E. Pierce as IT Director and reappointments of Douglas Rapalee (Highway Superintendent) and Amy D. Miller (Commissioner of Social Services), plus a series of budget transfers and appropriations including a $200,000 draw for the Yates Community Center field house.

The Legislature approved multiple personnel actions and budget adjustments during the April 13 meeting. Chad E. Pierce was appointed Information Technology Director effective April 13, 2026; Douglas M. Rapalee was reappointed County Highway Superintendent for a term beginning May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2030; and Amy D. Miller was reappointed Commissioner of Social Services for a term beginning May 16, 2026 and ending May 15, 2031. The votes on these appointments were recorded as unanimous where noted; the Highway Superintendent reappointment passed on roll call with one 'no' vote recorded by Mr. Button in a separate item.
