Union County approves board appointments and a development agreement resolution
The commission appointed Bennett Cook to the DFCS county advisory board, appointed Wesley Hopgood to the county alcohol board, and approved a development agreement resolution authorizing the commissioner to execute it on behalf of the county.

The commission announced several personnel and governance actions during its June 18 meeting. The chair said Bennett Cook "shall serve a 4 year term beginning on 07/01/2026" on the DFCS local county advisory board, and the board adopted Resolution R-2026-30 appointing Wesley Hopgood to the county alcohol board through 12/31/2028.
