Fire commission approves tapping school water for new Ruby Valley volunteer station
The Elko County Board of Fire Commissioners approved a cooperative agreement allowing the Elko County Fire District to tap an existing school well to supply water to the new Ruby Valley Volunteer Fire Department station. Fire Chief Peterson said tapping the school well avoids drilling a new well that could affect the school’s water system.
